General information

Whether you are already involved or plan to be involved in a H2020 proposal, whether you are in a company or a research organisation, this course will provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills and resources   to succeed. It is particularly useful for anyone who may be coordinating or leading the development of an application in the near future. Research Officers and support staff from institutions are also welcome and would benefit   from our workshop. This workshop requires no prior knowledge or experience of   European funding.

The training workshop will be led by our senior experts, David Murphy and Marieke Reuver, who have collectively over 30 years of EC project experience  covering the whole lifecycle from project application through to successful   completion. Other  experts will contribute to specialist topics within the course. As the General Manager of AquaTT, David has over 16 years’ experience building up live portfolios of EC-funded projects across the marine, environment,  energy and food sectors. David regularly provides advice and consultancy to researchers and SMEs writing bids for H2020. He also consults for Research Offices in several Universities on strategy and capacity building.  Marieke is AquaTT’s Research Programme Manager, responsible for the overall management of AquaTT’s portfolio of Research and Infrastructure projects. Marieke has contributed to an impressive range of project  success stories, building and maintaining partner relations as coordinator and work package leader on various FP7 and H2020 projects.
