Through the work done so far in MATES, a wide range of themes of potential gaps in the skills market for the offshore renewable energy and shipbuilding sectors has been identified. The MATES partnership, following a pragmatic approach, aims to produce a comprehensive but also feasible and demonstrable strategy. In order to achieve this, the best approach to make the strategy feasible is to focus on the highest priorities from the gaps identified in WP2.
In order to do so, during the online workshop we will present the themes or ‘Lines of Action’ and ask you to vote on each ‘Line of Action’ under certain criteria. This will allow us to conduct a quantitative analysis on the prioritisation of the ‘Lines of Action’ and hence conclude on the highest priorities that will be take forward within the MATES methodology.
