Scope:

The Rating forming part of a navigational watch course has been designed to meet the requirements of the STCW Convention 1978, as amended, Table A-II/4.

Course content:

  • Colregs;
  • Seamanship;
  • Maritime English;
  • IMDG - dangerous goods;
  • Radar simulator.
Objective:

Those who succesfully complete this course should achieve the required standard of competence for ratings forming part of a navigational watch if combined with the STCW Basic Safety Training (AVI/1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4).
