The programme consists of 7 face-to-face courses - 3 credits. The student must complete a minimum of 9 credits corresponding to the 3 compulsory courses, up to a maximum of 21 credits.
The profile of graduates will be that of specialists in Research and Management of Marine Conservation. Professional opportunities related to the conservation and exploitation of marine resources, including land planning and natural areas management, aquiculture, ecological tourism and others.

Prerequisites:
Students must hold a Spanish official university degree, or any degree issued by a higher education institution of the EHEA which grants access to Master studies in the country issuing the degree. Likewise, master students holding a certified foreign degree (external to the EHEA) or a non-certified degree can also access this master course, as long as the training level is equivalent to undergraduate degrees, and which grants access to official master studies.
This Master´s Degree is aimed at students holding a Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Chemistry or Geology. Students holding any other degree will be assessed taking into account their graduate studies in the aforementioned disciplines.
Cualquier persona que tengan un título universitario oficial español, o bien un título expedido por una institución de enseñanza superior del EEES que faculte en el país expedidor del título para acceder a enseñanzas oficiales de Máster. Asimismo también podrán cursar este máster alumnos con un título extranjero (externo al EESS) homologado, o sin homologar siempre que el nivel de formación sea equivalente a los títulos de grado y que faculte en el país expedidor para acceder a enseñanzas oficiales de Máster.
El Master está dirigido a estudiantes con una Licenciatura o Grado en Biología, Biotecnología, Ciencias Medioambientales, Ciencias del Mar, Química o Geología. Para los estudiantes que no dispongan de este perfil, se valorará estudios de postgrado en las disciplinas mencionadas.

Students must access the on-line application for pre-registration and fill in the requested information. Once this process is completed, the student must send the documentation requested. The documentation may be presented at any of the official registries of the University of Oviedo. It may also be sent by post addressed to the International Graduate Center Director.
