Mastère spécialisé Ingénierie marine / Architecture navale et offshore
This Advanced Master trains naval architects able to innovate and design ships and offshore platforms of all types, wich are more advanced and respectful of the environment.
Some lessons are given in English. (More precision is given in the detailed program (core curriculum) under each course unit).
Graduate career paths, a few examples
One year of studies comprises 2 semesters and 3 training periods:
- From septembre to december: Core Curriculum
- From December to March: Advanced Profiles
Two advanced profiles to choose from:
- Marine and Offshore Engineering (in Brest)
- Double-degree Program Engineering / Architecture Advanced Master (in Paris)
- From March to September: Final thesis in an industrial or academic environment in France or abroad, with a thesis to be defended in September .

Graduates of the Advanced Master are suited to major positions in naval architecture, project management, study, research, business engineering and shipyard supervision.
They use their skills in major groups, SMEs, naval architectural offices or research centers.

Optimal education conditions: ENSTA Bretagne at the heart of the Brest cluster of excellence for maritime research
European capital of marine sciences, the Brest area is a magnet for numerous organizations and companies in the naval sector: Ifremer research institute, the
SHOM national hydrographic service, the IUEM, France Energies Marines and all the companies that make up the Bretagne Pôle Naval Cluster.
A modern campus. A research center, well-equipped with test facilities, enables the lecturers to participate with professionals in naval R&D programs. The school leads the innovation program “ship of the future”, for example, at the heart of the technological and industrial cluster Mer Bretagne Atlantique.

<p><a href="http://www.ensta-bretagne.eu/index.php/dossier-and-enrolment-fees-am/">Administration and enrolment fees: Advanced Masters</a></p> <p>Students: 8.000 € (1)<br /> Companies and organizations: 12.000 € (1)<br /> Dossier fees: 30 €</p> <p>(1) For the Advanced Master in Marine Engineering, naval Architecture and Offshore - Ship Design Option, tuition fees for the 2018/2019 academic year are € 6,000.</p> <p>Payment of the dossier fees must be made by the deadline for returning dossiers (after pre-enrolment on line) be it 15 April for an application for an Advanced Master or (French national) Masters degree, at the very latest. Any incomplete dossier will not be put before the Jury.</p> <p>School fees should be paid the before Saturday 15 August at the very latest (a student card will not be given to students who have not paid these fees).</p>

Degree Requirements
Holding a degree, either a Master’s degree or the equivalent of a 5-year university/engineering school degree or APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning).
Language requirements
To apply to ENSTA Bretagne, students must provide proof of French language proficiency (minimum A2) with an official certification (TCF, DELF, DALF, TFI) and an English language certification (A2 level minimum).
